Sources of the texts in Morvale

Morvale contains 44 morning, evening and daily azkar. Every dhikr in the app shows its source under the text: surah and ayah for the Quran, or the hadith collection and number.

Quran

Quran text: Tanzil Quran Text (Uthmani, Version 1.1), Copyright (C) 2007-2026 Tanzil Project, License: Creative Commons Attribution 3.0, https://tanzil.net. Verbatim, changing it is not allowed. The verses are copied byte for byte from the Tanzil text, and an automated test checks every verse against it before each release.

How the texts are checked

The Arabic text of every hadith is written with full vowel marks. Transliteration and meaning are written for this app, not copied from books. Before release, a qualified reviewer checks every hadith against printed editions of the collections and signs off every text: Arabic, source and meaning.
